Curves and glares

Other set of sketches done with quickposes. This time the exercise was set in poses of 90'' seconds with images from their "erotica archives". I find much more easy to draw female shapes, that gives me time to sketch both body and face... pour guys of the previous exercise... they were a bunch of no-face- man...

Squared

Some drawing I did in Varese during one of my "drawing recess weekend". We were copying some images from advertisement pages on fashion magazines. Always quite inspiring.

Rough & Quick

I've been practicing quick sketches using quickposes.com
It's as funny as difficult, 60 seconds is nothing to define a body structure, but definitely the exercise worth it, you can easily improve and then become a fantastic itinerant sketcher and practice in the underground :p

I saw a ghost on a sofa

The CCA (Canadian centre of architecture) is a strange building in the city center of Montreal with a odd history. The structure it's a real maze because it binds an old Victorian house with a big modern structure that contains a library and a theatre... but the strange thing is that everybody that work here is absolutely convinced that there's a ghost that haunt the centre. Bill, the night guard, told us a lot of episodes about the ghost's apparitions. So... those drawings are the result of all those stories.

Sexy like a paper cut

When I'm completely bored in my Sundays afternoon I sometimes make things like this.
I'm trying to study new kinds of photoshop brushes and colors matches. I want to find a new way of drawing edges... the black line always looks too "cartoon"...

Wow... I noticed right now that's the first post of the new year! I'll try to make a self portrait next January too and look if there are changement on my style!

Look at my shoes/Scarpe going wild/J'aime mes bottes

I recently noticed a funny things, most of the visit on my blog are done searching for the word -scarpe- (shoes), but there are no images of shoes at all! Nether post where I talk about that...
So I decided to publish an old work I done for a contest that I didn't won, you can guess what the subject is: shoes, a metaphor of travelling!
Moreover I bought yesterday my new boots, that will save me from the incoming canadian winter.
Last but not least enjoy this video about boots <3
